TRAPEZE
Weekly, Wednesdays, April
29th–June 10th, 6:30–7:30 PM
NACL actress, acrobat, and
Pilates instructor, Sarah Dey
Hirshan will teach basic training,
core conditioning, and
trapeze skills. No experience
is necessary.
Cost: $95
ACTING FOR ADULTS
Creating and Performing a Solo Performance
Weekly, Tuesdays, April 14 to June 2,
7:00–8:30 PM
This class explores basic physical
and vocal actor training
skills, with a practical focus on
each actor creating their own,
original 10-minute solo performance.
Writing text, working
with props and costumes and
music will be encouraged.
Teacher: Tannis Kowalchuk. Cost:

PROFESSIONAL
TRAINING
NACL Performer Training
Retreat
June 28th–July 5th
The annual retreat is a weeklong
immersion in physical
and vocal training, and the
NACL methodology of building
performances that are actor-
centered. This workshop is
designed for actors, directors,
theatre makers, and serious
students of theatre. Participants
live and eat communal
meals (local and organic) at
NACL’s artist residence, and
the workshop is designed to
allow for both group work
and individual retreat time
and space.
This retreat is led by Brad
Krumholz, Tannis Kowalchuk,
Glenn Hall, Sarah Dey Hirshan.
Cost:
$675 all-inclusive for classes,
accommodations, and meals.
