This year's Festival runs August 15th-23th 2008.

Now in its 9th year, The NACL Catskill Festival of New Theatre presents international avant-garde performers who bring new plays, physical theatre, devised performance, community interactive works, site specific theatre, new media, and performer training workshops to NACL’s theatre and artist residence located two hours from New York City in Highland Lake, NY. The festival has produced the innovative work of artists like Split Britches, Dah Teatar (Serbia), International WOW, Theatre of a Two Headed Calf, ArtSpot Productions, Great Small Works, Curious Theatre Branch, Zuppa Circus, LAVA, Carpetbag Brigade, Strike Anywhere, Walter Thompson Orchestra, Circus Amok, and innovative playwrights and directors such as Michael Rohd, Lisa D’amour, Raymond Bobgan, and Ruth Margraff. Artist exchanges with the host and visiting companies, shared meals, panel discussions, post-performance talks, and the participation of renowned academics add to the unique collaborative atmosphere of the festival.
