Calling all Venture Culturalists: something is taking shape here that we want you to be a part of. It requires a commitment to invest in exploration — to underwrite the foray into creative deep space and to support the forum for relaying the findings — to enable and to share in the surprising new discoveries that make for engaging encounters in the crucible that is live performance.
Venture Culturalist? Despite the sound, you don’t have to be rich. You just need to be open to adventure and committed to supporting exploratory creative work.
We want to let you really see what goes on here (especially those who can’t physically be here). We want to find a way to advance our relationships with both our local and virtual community, to raise the stakes, to offer you more and to ask more of you too.

Deep Space encounters
The core program of our cultural laboratory, Deep Space offers a chance to engage with artists who share their work at different phases of their creative process — from raw, vulnerable, early flights to bold, full-fledged productions. Members (+1 Guest) attend Deep Space sharings for free.
The Periodic table
In March 2023 we established a dedicated site for The Periodic Table, our journal of findings from research undertaken by artists in residence at NACL. Members are notified when new content is published and will be able to comment in discussion forums.

We do not prioritize or reward more for larger support levels, but ask that each member determine what level of support is in line with their means. We certainly appreciate whatever you can afford to contribute, and we thank you for prioritizing your contributions to this community and this important work.
Don’t want to or can’t afford to become a member?
As always, we want you to be there with us, no matter what. If you can’t afford it, we get it. All our events are accessible regardless of your financial situation. We are committed to breaking down all barriers to participation in creative acts.
If you don’t want to belong to any group that would have you as a member, we get that too. We still want you to come around, if the spirit moves you.
