CANVAS SKY by HIDEAWAY CIRCUS
This is a PREVIEW PERFORMANCE. A preview performance of a show is an initial performance presented before the official opening to the public. These performances are typically used to test the show in front of an audience. Hideaway Circus is building the show at NACL and then offering us a sneak peek before they hit the road on their National Tour in June.
Please note that PARKING is limited for this event. We encourage carpooling. If you live nearby, please consider walking, if it is an option. If you will be driving, please indicate that you will need a parking pass during the checkout process.

General Admission "Bring Your Own Seat": Our most affordable option allows you to bring your own portable folding chair or blanket to the performance. Sit back, relax, and take in the breathtaking show from your own cozy setup!

Canvas Sky
NACL is pleased to welcome back the talented performers, artists, and technicians of Hideaway Circus for a second year. Witness magic in the making as they share a preview of their next original show, titled Canvas Sky, currently in development.
The show features a cast of ten world-class circus artists who explore the themes of self acceptance and uplifting one another. We follow the story of a circus troupe where the clown struggles to ‘fit in’ and find his voice, until he gets a little help from a friend who has already figured out how to embrace what makes her wonderful and unique. Canvas Sky is a captivating outdoor circus that brings together the enchantment and thrill of classical circus with a contemporary and touching narrative. This family-friendly spectacle, created by the innovative minds of Hideaway Circus founders Josh and Lyndsay Aviner, is perfect for audiences of all ages.

Hideaway Circus is a circus, dance, and multi-media producing company founded and run by Brooklyn based creators Josh & Lyndsay Aviner.
The company’s original live theatrical productions include: Stars Above, an American open-air touring circus; Beyond Babel, a two-time Drama Desk nominated dance show and a ‘Critics Pick’ of the The New York Times; Reflex, a unique theatrical experience that unravels 4,000 years of juggling; and the genre-defying slasher circus nightclub experience Slumber.
